We’re Hiring: Videographer
Codistan is looking for a skilled Videographer who can take ownership of video production and confidently manage shoots from setup to execution. The ideal candidate should be technically strong with cameras, lighting, and production equipment, while also having a good creative eye for framing, composition, and visual storytelling. Key Responsibilities:
Handle professional camera operation for brand shoots, social media content, advertisements, interviews, events, and other video productions.
Independently manage complete shoot setups when required.
Set up and manage lighting based on the location, subject, and creative requirement.
Handle gimbals and other camera stabilization equipment confidently.
Understand camera settings, lenses, exposure, frame rates, focus, composition, and movement.
Work closely with the creative team to execute shot lists, storyboards, and visual references.
Direct basic on-set positioning, framing, and camera movements where required.
Ensure footage is properly captured, organized, and handed over to the post-production team.
Maintain and responsibly handle cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, gimbals, and other production gear.
Troubleshoot production and equipment-related issues during shoots.
Be comfortable working both in-studio and on-location.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong hands-on videography and camera operation skills.
Good understanding of professional lighting setups.
Strong understanding of framing, composition, camera movement, and visual storytelling.
Experience handling gimbals and stabilization equipment.
Ability to independently manage the technical requirements of a shoot.
Good understanding of audio and basic production workflows.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly during shoots.
Creative mindset and attention to visual detail.
Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating camera and production work.
Additional Skills That Will Be a Plus:
Drone operation and aerial videography.
Video editing.
Photo editing and retouching.
Photography.
Basic colour grading.
Experience with mobile content creation or social media production.
