They needed a website that captured the warmth, authenticity, and prestige of the Napa Valley winemaking experience while also serving as a functional e-commerce platform for wine sales.

The Challenge

Winery websites occupy a unique space in web design: they need to communicate sensory experiences through a visual medium, evoke place and tradition, and simultaneously function as a reliable sales platform. Beresini Vineyards had a rich story to tell but needed it told in a way that felt authentic rather than corporate. The website could not feel like a template. Every design decision needed to reflect the character of Black Dog Ranch and the Beresini family, while also providing a smooth, trustworthy path to purchase for wine buyers discovering the brand for the first time online.

Our Solution

Codistan approached the Beresini Vineyards website as a brand storytelling project first and an e-commerce build second. The design drew on the visual language of the Los Carneros landscape and the ranch’s character, using typography via Google Font API and a custom layout system to create a warm, premium feel without sacrificing usability. WooCommerce was integrated to handle the wine sales workflow cleanly and securely, with product pages designed to present each varietal with the care it deserves. Open Graph tags were configured throughout to ensure that when the site is shared on social media, it presents beautifully and consistently. The result is a website that functions as a genuine extension of the Beresini brand.
