Despite strong product quality and an engaged local customer base, the brand’s digital discoverability was not matching the foot-traffic potential of its location. Codistan was engaged to execute a comprehensive local SEO and Google Business Profile optimisation strategy with a clear commercial objective: increase the volume of high-intent local searches translating into calls, clicks, and physical visits.
The campaign delivered results that transformed Doka Mocca’s online presence. Within the engagement period, the restaurant’s profile accumulated 128,000 profile views, 63,000 direct searches, 1,400 phone calls, and 447 website clicks. Doka Mocca had the product quality and location to compete at the top of Islamabad’s restaurant market, but its Google Business Profile was not capturing the volume of local search traffic that the brand deserved. The restaurant category is intensely competitive on Google Maps in Islamabad, with hundreds of listings competing for broad queries like ‘restaurants near me’ and ‘restaurants in Islamabad’. Without a structured optimisation strategy, Doka Mocca’s profile was being filtered below lower-quality competitors who had invested more deliberately in their local SEO signals. Seasonal opportunities – particularly Ramadan iftar searches – were being missed entirely due to the absence of relevant keyword content on the profile.

Codistan began with a full audit of Doka Mocca’s Google Business Profile, identifying gaps in category selection, business description keyword coverage, photo volume, and review recency. The profile was restructured around the search queries most likely to drive qualified foot traffic, with menu items, attributes, and business descriptions all updated to align with how Islamabad diners actually search for food. A seasonal content calendar was developed to capture intent spikes during Ramadan, weekends, and local events, publishing Google Posts that targeted high-value queries like ‘iftar buffet Islamabad’.
