Super Coaches is a platform that connects parents with experienced local sports coaches and academic tutors, simplifying the process of finding, booking, and paying trusted professionals for children’s development. The platform needed to handle scheduling, secure payments, verified reviews and ratings, and a geolocation-based discovery system so that parents could find top-rated coaches and tutors in their immediate community.
Codistan developed the Super Coaches platform on Bubble.io with a Node.js backend and Firebase database, integrating Google Maps for location-based coach discovery and payment APIs for secure booking transactions. The Challenge
Marketplaces for children’s services carry a heightened responsibility for trust and safety. Parents need to feel confident that coaches and tutors on the platform are verified and reviewed before booking, and the booking and payment process needs to be seamless enough that it does not create friction between discovery and conversion. Building a scheduling system that handles multiple coach availability windows, booking confirmations, and payment processing in real time on a no-code platform like Bubble.io required careful architecture to ensure reliability at scale.
Our Solution
Codistan architected the Super Coaches platform on Bubble.io, chosen for its ability to deliver a feature-rich marketplace without unnecessary development complexity. Google Maps API was integrated to power the location-based coach discovery experience, allowing parents to find highly rated coaches and tutors within their desired radius. Firebase provided the real-time database layer for scheduling and availability management, ensuring that booking conflicts are prevented and confirmation communications are triggered automatically. Payment APIs were integrated to handle secure transactions within the platform, with Amazon S3 and Cloudflare managing media delivery for coach profiles and tutor listings. The full analytics stack tracks user behaviour and marketing attribution from first visit through to booking completion.
