WWF-Pakistan’s Sustainable Infrastructure Initiative is a multi-phase program aimed at raising awareness and driving policy change around the environmental impact of infrastructure development in the Hindukush-Karakorum-Himalaya (HKH) region – one of the world’s most ecologically significant and fragile areas. Codistan contributed to this initiative by developing the digital infrastructure needed to support WWF-Pakistan’s outreach, research dissemination, and stakeholder engagement objectives.
The project required a platform that could communicate complex environmental data and policy recommendations to a diverse audience spanning government bodies, academic institutions, NGOs, and the general public. With the initiative entering Phase II – focused on consultation, dissemination, and implementation, the digital platform needed to evolve from an information repository into an active engagement tool, facilitating collaboration between stakeholders working toward shared sustainability goals.
